What Is an End-of-Life Doula?

End-of-life doulas are non-medical professionals trained to assist terminally ill individuals and their families. Doulas do not take the place of medical personnel; rather, they complement other services that the dying person and their family may be receiving, including hospice or palliative care. End-of-life doulas offer a fully integrated approach addressing the physical, emotional, spiritual, and practical needs of the individual and their family throughout the dying process.

“Compassion and understanding are the hallmarks of my care, as I provide a wide range of holistic services to my clients and their loved ones throughout the final days and hours of life.”

Providing Comprehensive Support

As an INELDA-trained end-of-life doula, I have an extraordinary ability to connect with the heart. This skill inspires my clients to live a full life as they plan for the best death, while also sustaining those left behind. I am passionate about normalizing the dying process. Through my work both as a hospice volunteer and end-of-life doula, I protect the sanctity and grace of the transition from life to the final parting.

Since 2015, I have provided companionship and caregiver relief for hospice and palliative care patients; provided bereavement support for individuals, families & children; and served as a spiritual care volunteer.
